We setup replication to another UEB using the replication wizard and everything was working great. We lost power for about 5 hours and it happened at a time we could not get in to bring the systems down nicely. Since everything is back up replication has been failing. I contacted unitrends support and all they can tell me is that our hardware is not powerful enough to handle the tasks we currently have setup. I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem. All I get for an error is “Failed: Unable to send blocks. This replication will now retry. Network: No error”.

Also if anyone knows how to kill the replication and reconfigure it as new. I have asked support for procedures on that as well but with not luck.

Brian - I’m sorry to hear that you’re encountering these issues.with your replication. Do you mind forwarded me your recent case number. I’d like to check the case notes to see what’s happened and see if there’s anything else that we can do to help.

Sure its # 00260256

Thanks for those details Brian. I’m looking into this now. I have an appointment to run to tonight, so it may be tomorrow before we get you an update.

Hi Katie,

Thanks for the updates but no need to look any further for on this issue. Your support department demonstrated a clear lack of interest and understanding of our issue and we have decided to move on from unitrends. This is truly disappointing as this was the second time that unitrends has demonstrated that they are not truly concerned about their customers. We had a bad experience with one of your sales reps earlier this year and now a bad encounter with your support.

Thanks anyways

Brian

Brian - I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had these bad experiences. I’ve shared your feedback with our VP of Customer Support, and she will be following up with you after she discusses the situation with the engineer assigned to your case.
