I scanned a new device using the IP adress, I saw the device name ad all the information on the file “kuids.yaml” I can find the same information under the directory “computers” but I can’t find the device under Spiceworks interface. I set the slow scan and nothing is inserted in the “Exclusion list”. Thank you in advance K.

If you perform a search for the IP address within Spiceworks, do you receive any errors or any search results?

no, nothing!!! The ping responds and no firewall is set. It’s curious that I can see the device (with all the correct information) in the file and in the directory I mentioned. Tks

Hmm, that’s definitely unusual! Let me go ahead and get a support ticket created for you and I’ll send over some instructions on getting us your logs. We’ll want to take a look at those to see what’s going on.

thank you for your reply. I solved the problem, I found the device in error (with another name but with the same MAC), I deleted it and I scanned it again. Now I can see this PC too. I found the MAC in the LOG files. Thank’s a lot!
