I just wanted to let the larger community know that I’m going to be much less present here. I have had some enlightening discussions with Spiceworks’ employees that have led me to the conclusion that my vision for the community and their’s differs. In light of that I’m going to move on. I’ll probably still come back here periodically because there are a lot of people that I’ve grown to count as friends during the last several years, and I don’t want to abandon those relationships. I bear no one any ill will, but it is time. I refuse to be simply a product, so I’m going to find something else other than this community. I don’t even know if I will find it yet, but I cannot stay here and remain true to what I believe.

I wish you all the best in your various endeavours, SpiceHeads, GGs, and OGs alike. To quote Bilbo Baggins, “I don’t know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.”

Kelly, this deeply saddens and concerns me. I am saddened that you are leaving. I am concerned because I am blind to SpiceWorks problems. Not that I am asking to know what they are but your post motivates me to pay more attention. Thank you.

Kelly posted some rather candid but honest feedback in a group for Higher Pepper levels and part of the response from Spiceworks Leadership was " I know it’s easy to go online and dump on other people’s work behind avatars of cats, hamsters, or whatever but I stand by their work."
