Hey guys! It is hard to believe that I have been here on Spiceworks since 2010. It’s been an amazing adventure and I am grateful for the opportunity I’ve had to help Spiceheads solve their problems, share my IT knowledge and learn some new things. However, it’s time for me to move on, so this will be my last post as a Netwrix Green Guy.
Oh… why does it take a minute to say hello and forever to say goodbye? It’s tough for me to leave this place. It was an amazing eight years — troubleshooting in the Windows group, learning the IT security group, coming up with fun games and contests, creating helpful how-to’s, reading cozy Water Cooler and enjoying lots of other great stuff. I appreciate you honoring me with a Spicies Award in 2015; that was really important to me because it was a sign that my input really matters here, and it gave me the inspiration to write more helpful content. Hope you found it useful; I tried my best.:slight_smile:
Before I disappear in the shadows, I want to introduce the Green Guy who will continue the job I started 8 years ago. His name is Ryan (Netwrix) and he’s very experienced IT pro, especially in IT security. You’ve probably seen him around the last couple of weeks. He has a lot of stuff to share with you, no doubt, so don’t forget to follow him. I believe that he will be even better than me and soon reach the “Ghost Chili” level I never managed to achieve (900 points to go :D).
Spiceheads, IT pros, friends – I don’t want to say goodbye, so I’ll simply say, “'until we meet again.” I wish you all stable connections, reliable hardware, and software without bugs! Farewell!
