Some devices are not scanned since more that 30 days and whatever i do they won’t re-scan, Network scans jumps from 0 to complete scan in about 1 second, we have inventory inconsistencies, reports are not running,<\/p>\n
Scan speed = Slow<\/p>\n
Scanner sends all data instead of deltas = True<\/p>\n
I’ve searched all over the forums and did not find anything to help. I’ve tried almost every steps of troubleshooting that were proposed.<\/p>\n

Settings, inventory, device scanning - disable all your scans, restart SW.<\/p>\n
Now add a single IP you know is on, and scan it - if this works re-enable the bulk list and scan.<\/p>\n

Just updated to the latest version.<\/p>\n
Tried the single IP, Same thing.<\/p>\n

Does SW see devices but not scan them, or does it find nothing on the range?<\/p>\n
Do you or have you recently installed any IDS or IPs on the network/devices?<\/p>\n

Sees them, does not scan them. Even manually scanning, some are seen offline some are seen online but they haven’t been scanned since May 15th etc …<\/p>\n
Nothing new installed on the network recently.<\/p>\n

Lets try something as I believe you had DNS issues.<\/p>\n
ping a machine and note the IP<\/p>\n
Now ping -a that IP<\/p>\n
Does it match the machine you just pinged?<\/p>\n
