It is easier to move your Spiceworks inventory - moving the NM is a clean install, the former you can restore your data.<\/p>\n

A wonderful day,
I installed Spiceworks Network Monitor yesterday and added a bunch of servers for monitoring today. Since I logged out, however, I am unable to login as it says that I’ve used an “Invalid email or password”.
You might say that I should check my password, but I’m logging in perfectly fine in the community page and in Spiceworks Desktop. And I did reset my password as well, but no luck.
As far as the username is concerned, I remember looking into the settings page and seeing my well known email.
I tried to access http://localhost:8080/wizard/start , as suggested here:
Hi,
A colleague installed the Network Monitor, and I am trying to log in using my own Spiceworks credentials. My colleague can log in fine without issue.
However, my login is being rejected, with the error “invalid email or password”. I know both are correct, as I manually logged into the Spiceworks community with the same details, without an issue.
Any ideas?
but I’m presented with the Sign in screen again.
Any help would be appreciated.

If network monitor and Spiceworks desktop are installed on the same system, this is a known issue - they are not meant to be installed on the same server.

Is there an official statement I can see?
Thanks a lot!

The Spiceworks desktop should be installed on a separate device from the Spiceworks Network Monitor.
