Hi,

I can not currently get onto the Spiceworks interface, the last change I made was to clear the proxy details as we no longer have a proxy. I closed my browser and reopened it and was unable to connect anymore, it just says the server is busy and to try again later.

I’ve recreated and tested a free proxy that will accept connections with the same details as the old one and can verify it is working, however Spiceworks still just says busy…

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to manually enter the proxy details again via a config file? I’m not sure if it is even that, but it seems quite likely as the change happened shortly before it stopped working… :frowning:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve restored the VM to yesterday as the server was working this morning, but that has not worked. Restored the VM back to last week and still the same… I’m totally stumped!

If you log into the Spiceworks host and enter http://localhost/wizard/proxy are you then able to update the proxy settings?

Bear in mind, if you’re running Spiceworks on an alternate port (like 9675) you’d need to modify the url, like http://localhost:9675/wizard/proxy
