I’m just getting the help desk server up and it’s running version 18.04.5 LTS but I see that there is an upgrade to version 20.04.1. Is there any known concerns with performing that version upgrade?

I had it running as a quick test under 20.04 months ago. I do not recall any issues, but the test was short and a clean install vs an upgrade

@bethanyanderson ​ I am going to run an upgrade and see how it goes. I can just test it since it is on my lab and I can repot my findings.

@dbeato ​, just wanted to see if you had time yet to do the version upgrade to 20 and if you had any issues? As I am brand new with this to Unbuntu, I’m unsure how to fix any errors and once I finish getting the migration done, don’t need any more hiccups.

I haven’t had the time but I will work on it today and let you know. It has been busy to say the least!

Check this thread out regarding running HDS on Ubuntu 20.

I will be upgrading our version sometime next month to see if the issue persists.
