I know this is an older unit however until Monday 4-27-2020 we never had an issue, I have spoken with several Vertical guys and they are even lost to this one. Thus my reasoning for posting it here. We have 2 units the primary and secondary. ALL services work fine and all lines work fine however there is an issue that started yesterday and no one has a clue even the Vertical guys are lost. I have 5 POTS lines coming into the unit. This issue ONLY affects line 1 of the Operators phone. Yes I have changed the phone out 3 times as well as having checked all wiring etc.<\/p>\n
When the operator answers line one the line crackles and then simply goes silent meaning you cannot hear the operator. The connection is still active however you cannot hear her, it simply goes silent. I have changed handsets, phone bases etc.<\/p>\n
This issue does NOT affect any other line nor any other users phones. It is simply THAT phone and that line… Craziest thing ever and unless this thing is Haunted then I have no other ideas on this one.
