To the Wichita Kansas Spice Corp. My name is Adam Ackerman, i Work for the Bradbury Company in Moundridge, Ks and i am proud to be your spice leader. I am very excited to get this rolling and want to invite you all to our first meet. I am looking at the 24th of March in Wichita. Scott Alan Miller (SAM) and Bob Beatty (awaiting confirmation) , among others will all be coming in for this meet, it will be a great opportunity to meet some Spiceworks legends and each other. I am completely open to suggestions on a venue, i was thinking a nice lunch somewhere. Also how does everyone feel about making this a family event, my wife is also in IT, ChandraLynn and is a avid SW users. We have a 3 year old girl who seems to be the bell of the ball where ever she goes. also let me know if the 24th works for everyone.

PSX_Defector and I, at a minimum, are carpooling up from Dallas. We’ll be passing through OK City so I’ll be seeing if anyone else from the DFW group or from the OKC group want to ride along too.

Lunch is definitely good, maybe a latish lunch (1PM or later) to give those of us driving from a few states away time to get there. It’s a decently long drive. Doesn’t have to be late, but noon is pretty early given the distance.

Meeting posted, Old Chicago has a nice meeting room, normally there is a 40 person requirement and a fee but they are waiving both as there is nothing going on that weekend so i would like to say now that i want to be sure to leave a good tip. i hope everyone can make it.

Hello all! We (IMA) have a large meeting room that will comfortably seat 20+ with microphone, PA, projector, etc. Our IT Director has authorized us to use it for SpiceCorp meetings at no charge. We could have food catered in, or “brown bag” it. Let me know if anyone is interested. We’re located at 32nd and Rock.

right now Old Chicago was nice enough to let us have the meeting room there, we will see how that goes, if it dose not go well, i have no problem meeting at your place next time…really even if it goes well at OC, we could still use yours next time, that is entirely up the corp.

Actually, I will not be able to attend. That falls right in the middle of my Jeet Kune Do class (Saturdays 10-2). I’m pretty sure some of the other guys here at IMA will attend, but I’ll verify and let you all know. Someone from IMA would probably need to be present for SpiceCorps to use our meeting room.
