Mindreading so I could actually understand what a user is asking for and to get the truth out of a user that claims they did nothing.

Teleportation so I could get onsite instantly and get things done faster.

Invisibility so I could get past the users that always stop you in the hallway trying to get to another issue or on your way to lunch or trying to leave for the day.

I already know how to Turn it off and Turn it on again…

I wouldn’t want mindreading. Hearing what some of my users say is bad enough, I wouldn’t want to be inside their heads…

For IT specifically? Jamie Madrox AKA Multiple Man’s powerset would probably be the most useful. Basically he can split into multiple versions of himself that can all think and work independently of each other. When he re-absorbs them, all of their memories and new knowledge meld with his. So outside of the obvious “doing multiple things at a time,” I could research a problem from multiple angles, re-merge, re-split, and then we would have however many of myselves with the same knowledge able to continue investigating in multiple directions with the combined knowledge of all of the formers.

I would love teleportation. Traveling is one of the most time consuming things I have to do.

Those were some tough choices. I’m not sure what I’d do if I could be invisible, but teleporting & flying could sure come in handy.

Not mind reading but the ability to know what they want, not what they are asking for. I’m getting very frustrated of playing 20 questions when I fulfil their request only to find out it wasn’t really what they wanted even though they provided the details I needed to complete the task.

No time manipulation option? Freezing time for people for sure. As long as that doesn’t freeze electronics. I would love to be able to reboot a server mid day without dealing with emails/supervisors/after hours. Taking mid day nap to think clearer. Etc…

Since that is not on the list, I am going with teleportation. With these gas prices, this would save a ton of money. I could also sleep in since I wouldn’t have to commute. Work at offsite locations with ease. Forgot data closet key, no problem. Etc.

For purposes of this poll, I picked Teleportation. If I could have any superpower, it would be the power to alter probabilities.

Of all the available choices I pick teleportation. Instantly traveling to the different remote sites, not having to deal with traffic or be in the car for hours and still be back home before the street lights come on. Just like Mom instructed :family_woman_boy:

teleportation would save an ton of money on gas.

I wouldn’t want mind reading. What people say out loud is bad enough. I wouldn’t want to know what they are really thinking.

For IT specifically Techcromancy would be great to directly control electronics.

In general telekinesis to be able to control objects with your mind would be awesome.

I’ve seen the Disastrous Life of Saiki K. and can confirm mindreading would be a curse, being able to hear everything from everyone around you, hearing the punchline to every joke before it happens and movie spoilers from people walking out of the cinema as you’re going in.

I think teleportation would be the best choice purely so if a wasp gets in the room I can quickly teleport to the other side of the world until it leaves.

Teleportation - for the quick and zero cost travel.

Invisibility - to see what REALLY happens.

Flying - because it would be fun!

I chose the same three for the same reasons.

I already have one. It doesn’t do me a lot of good in IT but it comes in handy with house repair and wood working. I can pretty well eyeball both level and a 90* angle.

Mind reading would be cool but only if I could turn it off and on. I wouldn’t want everyone’s thoughts in my head all the time, already enough noise in there as it is.

If not that, I’d go with teleportation. Invisibility would be cool too, if you can’t read their minds you could at least see what they say when you’re not around.

I’d totally pick teleportation. It’d be great for travelling between our buildings but I’d probably end up using it for nefarious deeds, quit IT altogether and build a secret island lair.

Teleportation sounds very tempting, but I’d rather fly since it’s convenient when it comes to travelling between rooms in the office, and it sounds like fun.
