I’ve got four network Xerox Altalink C870 printers all configured and deployed through GPO. Three are printing without any problem, however one only prints blank pages. This started about a week ago.

I’ve followed the steps listed in https://www.support.xerox.com/en-us/article/en/1561151 without any positive results.

I’ve followed the suggestions from ServiceNow… . Still no luck.

Any help or suggestion is welcome.

Sorry, looking at the Xerox link it is not clear they actually asked you to confirm that the print engine is working. Do internal reports from the control panel work? Can you make a copy?

I can copy and print configuration reports.

Issue from one computer or any computer? If you have followed all the hardware resets it looks more like a computer system issue. Maybe a recent windows update, but that does not explain 3 working printers. Have you tried changing the IP address to one of the working machines address to see if that works?

The issue is from any computer to the one printer.

I’ve changed the ip address of the printer. Removed from the GPO and redeployed. Same problem.

Try a firmware upgrade, but consider that only a forced firmware upgrade will erase the old firmware and possible errors. The link is for a Xerox Colorqube but i did the same procedure on Xerox Phaser 7760s and 7800s and on a Versalink C8000. It seems to be universal. Maybe the USB-Stick should have less than 8GB of storage.
