Target officially confirms more Switch 2 stock for next week in-store, and here's when they will go live online again

Some credible sources already tipped us to upcoming Switch 2 stock at Target, but now it’s official. The national retailer has now updated its Switch 2 landing page on the official site with some details on when you can expect to get another chance to land Nintendo’s highly sought-after next-generation console, in-store and online.

Switch 2 back in-stock at Target next week

Turns out the rumors we featured previously are indeed true – Target is now on the short-list of major retailers officially announcing upcoming stock allocations of Nintendo Switch 2.

Best Buy has already informed 9to5Toys of its upcoming stock re-up (and gave us our first look at the collectible Nintendo Switch 2 coin lucky attendees will get a chance at). GameStop has confirmed as much as well and, while not official yet, it looks as though Walmart will be joining the party too.

There is one main catch here, Best Buy has officially announced that its Switch 2 stock will be available in-store, with no mention of online stock – you’re going to have to wait in line and be early at midnight on June 5 it appears.

GameStop has mentioned both online and in-store stock, but it had very, very few units online at pre-order.

This leaves Target – it has now confirmed that it will have stock when doors open at brick and mortar locations on June 5, but it has also confirmed that it will be selling Switch 2 online the following day on June 6.

As of right now, Target’s June 6 Switch 2 event is likely going to be the best bet for landing one without waiting in line next week.

There is unfortunately no times being mentioned here by Target, but I will be ready when the clock strikes midnight ET on June 6, and you probably should be too.
