I just posted this question, but was then asked to login, so I’m not sure if it went through.

I was able to do a scan earlier today on my computer and the scan at least found partial information on other devices. I wanted to see how a scan affected imported devices from a csv file, so I deleted all devices, did a bulk-import (with the --no-manual flag), and then did a rescan. The only thing that was updated was information on my computer which originated the scan, but none of the others computers or devices were recognized, while they were before (at least partially). Any thoughts??

Is Spiceworks still configured to scan a specific network range?

Will Spiceworks repopulate these devices if you clear your inventory again, and rescan?

I didn’t change any configuration that I know of. I did clear the inventory again and rescan, but it only found my computer.

My supervisor in our network also has spiceworks installed, I don’t know if that would affect it. I installed Spiceworks on my computer just to test the import and was surprised when it did a scan that I did not initiate. But it was useful to see how it worked with the import. However, nothing shows up on the scan now (except my pc).
