the local PC I had running Spiceworks crashed. The operating system became corrupt and I can’t get it back up. I believe I can still access the hard drive if needed. is it possible to pull out the Spiceworks data and use that for a new PC so I can keep all of my data?

{"@type":"Person
[{"@type":"Answer

As long as you can mount the drive one way or another and copy the data from the install directory, that’s where the database data is.

{"@type":"Person
ranhalt
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/ranhalt"}},{"@type":"Answer

If you had backups of the Spiceworks install on and saved them to a different system or storage device you can definitely work from there.

The default location for backups is c:\\program files (x86)\\Spiceworks\\backup

{"@type":"Person
mad-spicehead
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/mad-spicehead"}},{"@type":"Answer
