I always call Labor Day weekend, project weekend.

But our last public holiday was 31st August; no more days off until Christmas day.

I saw that earlier today. It might seem a bit odd to us, but considering their employment law, perhaps it’s understandable.

As it happens, I haven’t taken all of my holiday time over the last 7-8 years (my choice, nothing to do with any pressure from work), so I’m no better.
