We’re having the same issue as in the above locked post. Been like that for weeks now. Community subdomain is fine, but tld is inaccessible. Out company network is fine config-wise and we can open the site from mobile, but that’s obviously no good.

Help appreciated

To be clear, you’re having an issue connecting to www.spiceworks.com , correct? Do you have the same issue when in incognito mode? When you’re on a different IP? What’s the results when you ping it?

I haven’t had any issues connecting to it and not seeing any trouble signs. I did ping it from a few different VPN locations to be on the safe side.

Hello Sean,

Ping goes through 0% loss, traceroute goes through, incognito changes nothing and all our internet-facing IPs result in the same error as in the ss. Tried http and https, no joy. Tried specific links, sent from my phone (on mobile data), no joy :frowning:

Hmmm, that is odd. What’s also odd is the IP you show in your image above is not what I’m seeing (at least the IP you’re accessing the Community from).

I checked Is It Down to be on the safe side: Spiceworks.com - Is Spiceworks Down Right Now? and https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/spiceworks.com?www=1 and http://isitdown.co.uk/www.spiceworks.com to be on the safe side.

I checked Imperva (Incapsula) Status and not seeing anything weird for your region: https://status.imperva.com/

Could it be an issue with your ISP?

Can’t say, but it’s not entirely impossible; given the symptoms. I could share with you the redacted IP, but not on here.

Also, the IP on the ss is supposed to be spiceworks.com’s; that’s also what tracert resolves to.

Doh! I apparently did not have my coffee when I originally looked at this… I should have realized that is our IP (for www).

Do you have the same issue when trying to access the website from a different location (such as at home)?

This is too weird! I just realised I can open spiceworks.com on company wifi; so far i only have tried my own mobile data. No, havent tried at home, why would i do that?!

So it seems our isp doesnt block it… what gives?!
