Hi all. Have an office with a MPC3004. User trying in vain to copy 1 original page to 1 page.

But what she is getting is 2 original pages to 1 duplex page.

This is unacceptable, so need to know how to fix this??

I am not in this office, just offer support from a distance.

Can you do a video chat with the user and have her show you the screen so you can walk her through what she needs to change? How long has customer had this unit - is it new? Did it use to copy properly and now doesn’t work? Has she pressed the reset button? If so and it didn’t set it back to 1-1 the default settings may have been corrupted. I don’t have this model so can’t give specific buttons to press. My display has options for different modes, she would need to make sure none of them are highlighted. There’s also a button at the bottom of the screen for dup/combine/series. That’s where I find the options to set what she’s getting.

Edit-just reread your post, is it just doing 2 sided? That’s usually just an option on the screen. Reset or make sure 2-sided is not highlighted/selected.

I can not RDP at this time. I did try an pull up the user interface that she would see at the Unit so I could follow along, but it refuses to load in the browser.

Tried different browsers, same disappointing result. I imagine its based on either Java, or Flash, but it does no come up.

I reached out to Ricoh sales guy and he is going to call and step her through it.

We will see and I will report back.
