Myself and a colleague are pulling our hair out over the portal!
We are trying to get it up and running for all the obvious benefits of having it but we’re hitting quite a few issues along the way.
We have the portal set-up (by an ex member of staff) so it exists but we cant seem to get our users able to log into it.
We’ve gone though and enabled all the AD integration (however in ‘People’ we’re not seeing the correct AD info, it doesn’t aper to be syncing) so we’re now a bit stuck.
We’ve read a few posts on the subject but other peoples issues have been different or we’ve already done the trouble shooting.
I don’t know if anyone can point me in the direction of a step by step guide we can follow to start the process from a fresh or a quick tick list of things we should have in place/completed

Have you tried changing the AD Server name to a different DC?
Is the Base DN correct (If you have changed your AD strucutre but not gone into advanced settings and configured base DN)
Have you tried a domain admin account for the sync?

Turns out we’d entered the LDAP port incorrectly. doh.
