AD Authentication

Hi

We are testing version 5 but having problems with getting the AD authentication to work. We’ve tried various variations on the username theme and none seem to work we keep getting a response could not authenticate etc any ideas.

Any one got any pointers. I’ve looked through the other threads but without any joy.

Hi. What are your advanced settings, do you have it set to use SSL, are LDAP binds enabled, that sorta thing.

Well I’ve just removed the advanced settings and hey presto it’s all now working. So obviously had done some thing daft there.

First time I tried I enabled SSL - since my DC wasn’t setup to expect it the connection failed, so it was familiar. Hope it goes well further!
