Hi, y’all - Chad here. We’re officially into August, which is “National Back to School Month” here in the States. As someone with no kids, what that means for me is basically being able to do things in public during the day again, in peace. I know…your kids are great. Really, they’re great. This is awkward…hey, look over there at that wrap-up!
July was busy - we closed out Q2 with an overall increase in Community activity, and that was in no small part due to our fantasmical Brand Reps. We’re also ramping up our #SpiceWorld2023 promos & such, so be sure to check out all the related posts over in the SpiceWorld forum!

It’s all about PCs! In a post that made me think about my own habits, @juwan-for-hp asked a pretty easy yet impossible question: “ What are some of your PC/laptop care tips? ” Turns out, my main care tip is “never touch your computer, ever!” And, @tamara-for-intel asked, " are you involved in shaping user PC purchases? , while @jack-intel asked, " what do you think about when purchasing laptops for your fleet ?".
General Software
@justin-for-eaton also asked the Community a good question about systemic software/hardware issues dealt with recently. Hopefully, not many of you experience systemic issues like that in your environments, but that’s wishful thinking…I know.

Water Cooler
Over near the water cooler, @tiffany-for-hpe asked “ How do you combat sedentary habits on the job? ” which got me thinking - do I combat those habits? I feel like I sort of lean into them at my age. I didn’t buy a 3-billion dollar chair for nothing, after all. But I also work from home and have an absolutely ridiculous ~2yr old dog who keeps me busy. So I guess my answer is, “Raymond”.
And with another absolutely impossible question, @tamara-for-scale-computing threw down a dang gauntlet: “ If you had to pick one decade of music to listen to for life… ” For those of you who know me, you know that’s just the kind of question to send me over the edge of rabbit-holing the day away. My answer changes hourly. Right now it’s “1970s”, but that’s mostly just because of “Exile on Main Street”.
